A good candidate for a Medicare Supplement plan is someone who needs or wants any of the following:

  • Needs more coverage beyond what Original Medicare provides
  • Wants fixed costs for medical services
  • Would rather pay a higher premium in exchange for lower medical bills for medical services

A good candidate for a Medicare Advantage plan is someone who needs or wants any of the following:

  • More benefits beyond what Original Medicare provides
  • Wants both medical and prescription drug coverage in one plan
  • Would rather have a lower premium in exchange for copay’s for medical services
Our Medicare consultations are always 100% FREE! We help you weigh your options and make the best choice for you, and we don’t charge for our services since we are paid by the insurance carrier you select. There is literally zero cost for you to take advantage of our knowledgeable staff to help you make sense of Medicare, and your insurance premium will be the same as if you were to buy direct from the insurance company. They pay us; not you!
Starting in 2013, Oregon residents have been allowed to change Medicare Supplemental insurers once per year, around the month of their birthday — regardless of one’s health status, good or poor. We have detailed information that helps explain “The Birthday Rule” and how it can be used to your advantage. Just give us a call or submit our Get Free Information form.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.

Want To Learn More About Your Medicare Coverage Options?

There are two main ways to increase your Medicare coverage.

Option One

Add Medicare Supplemental & Part D Drug Plan

Supplemental Insurance:

You must be eligible for Part A and enrolled in Part B to add a Medicare Supplemental plan.

Part A (Hospital Ins.)

Original Medicare includes Part A and/or Part B. You must have both.

Part B (Medical Ins.)

Original Medicare includes Part A and/or Part B. You must have both.

Part D (Prescriptions)

Original Medicare does not include Rx coverage (see note below).

Supplemental Ins.

Supplemental Insurance does not include Rx coverage (see note below).

Option Two

Enroll in Medicare Advantage Plan.

Medicare Advantage Plan:

Includes both Part A (Hospital) and Part B (Medical) insurance plans.

Part A & B Combined

Medicare Advantage plans include both Part A and Part B coverage.

Can't Be Denied

This gives you the convenience of a single plan; and if you’re eligible for Medicare, you cannot be denied coverage.

Part D (Prescriptions)

Most Medicare Advantage plans include prescription drug coverage benefits.

Additional Benefits

Some Medicare Advantage plans offer additional benefits not covered by Medicare, like vision, hearing aids, and more.

Medicare Supplemental Insurance Note

If you would like prescription drug coverage, you need to enroll in a Prescription Drug Plan at the same time you enroll in your Medicare Supplemental Insurance policy. We can help you select the plan right for you.
