- Wants both medical and prescription drug coverage in one plan
- Would rather have a lower premium in exchange for copay’s for medical services

There are two main ways to increase your Medicare coverage.
Option One
Supplemental Insurance:
Part A (Hospital Ins.)
Original Medicare includes Part A and/or Part B. You must have both.
Part B (Medical Ins.)
Original Medicare includes Part A and/or Part B. You must have both.
Part D (Prescriptions)
Original Medicare does not include Rx coverage (see note below).
Supplemental Ins.
Supplemental Insurance does not include Rx coverage (see note below).
Option Two
Medicare Advantage Plan:
Part A & B Combined
Medicare Advantage plans include both Part A and Part B coverage.
Can't Be Denied
This gives you the convenience of a single plan; and if you’re eligible for Medicare, you cannot be denied coverage.
Part D (Prescriptions)
Most Medicare Advantage plans include prescription drug coverage benefits.
Additional Benefits
Some Medicare Advantage plans offer additional benefits not covered by Medicare, like vision, hearing aids, and more.
