Shonna Butler

Shonna Butler is a Life and Health Insurance Broker who has worked in the insurance field since 2011. Prior to becoming an Insurance Broker, Shonna spent over a decade working as a Budget and Fiscal Operations Analyst for the Oregon University System, Chancellor’s Office. When the university system restructured and the Chancellor’s Office was dissolved, Shonna decided she would start her own business in the insurance industry. She knows that all people need insurance to cope with unpredictable life circumstances and she wanted to help others navigate through the “rugged waters of the insurance seas.” In 2013, Shonna affiliated with Tomlin Health Insurance, an insurance agency located in Eugene, Oregon. Her insurance lines include Health, Long-term care, Disability, Medicare, Medical, Dental, Vision, Term, Whole Life, and Universal Life.

Shonna is a lifelong learner who obtained her B.S. in Sociology, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and a Masters in Public Administration. She pursued her insatiable enthusiasm for serving others through volunteering her time with nonprofit agencies throughout Lane County. Since 2009, she has been on the Board of Directors for Centro Latino Americano, a social service agency for Latino individuals and families; she was elected Board President in 2014.
